Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures and southeasterly winds are expected during Friday. Areas likely to be affected include parts of the North East forecast district. Frosts with temperatures down to -1 degrees are forecast for Friday morning in parts of the Mallee, Wimmera, Northern Country, North Central, North East, South West, Central, West and South Gippsland and East Gippsland forecast districts. Frost Warning Temperatures at ground level can be many degrees lower than those recorded by standard weather stations, especially in calm conditions with very clear skies.
