HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. Heavy rainfall up to one inch in an hour. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Onondaga, Syracuse, Clay, Rome, Cicero, De Witt, Cortland, Sullivan, Oneida, Norwich, and Kirkland. This includes the following highway exits... Interstate 90 between 32 and 38. New York Interstate 81 between 10 and 31. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Heavy rainfall is occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
